Is a deposit required?

For all hired items we require a refundable security deposit. This will be calculated at checkout.  

Once we have received the goods after your event, should the products be free of damages, the full security deposit will be refunded within 3-5 working days of receiving the goods.

How and when do I receive my hire items?

Your selected hire items will be delivered by an APC courier directly to your home or venue. 

Deliveries are scheduled to arrive two working days before your event date, you will receive a time slot on the morning your delivery is due.

How and when do I return my hire items?

All items can be returned in the same box in which they were delivered.  The box must be resealed securely and our courier will arrange the paperwork.

We ask that all items, especially umbrellas, are returned as dry as possible. Wet umbrellas lead to damage and rust, this can result in a reduction of deposit. 

Collection will be organised approximately two working days after your event is over. We are unable to provide a collection time, we ask that someone is available through out the day. Should the carrier attempt collection and this is missed, we can re-arrange an additional collection but the cost will be deducted from your deposit. 

What do I do if a hire item is lost, stolen or damaged?

Please do not return damaged brollies to us, please dispose of them and notify us of how many will not be returned. 

Once we receive your hire items back to our warehouse, we thoroughly check and count the items.

After inspection we will then inform you, via email, that your hire items have returned and if any reduction charges were made. We will deduct the value from the deposit, if any additional charge is due, you will be invoiced directly.

What charges will incur for damages?

In the instance that damage occurs to any hire items the price for each unit damaged will be deducted from the deposit.

Umbrella basket – £21.99
Hay bale cover – £6.00
Sherpa fleece blanket – £12.00

Should I dry umbrellas before returning?

Yes, please. Umbrellas are quick to air dry and by drying them you’ll help prevent rust and damage. We ask kindly that you dry them as much as possible before re-packaging them or at least shake off excess water. 

You may be charged for any umbrellas that need replacing due to rust or damage.
